Efficient Production from Salt Brine
The heart of the NaOH plant is the membrane electrolyzer. High-quality purified brine enters the electrolyzer and undergoes electrochemical separation. Sodium ions pass through the ion-exchange membrane while the membrane prevents unwanted mixing of the products generated at the anode and cathode sides.
The resulting caustic soda solution can be processed and concentrated to meet different customer requirements. At the same time, chlorine and hydrogen are treated through dedicated processing systems for safe handling and further utilization.
