Reliable SO₃ Supply
Stable SO₃ production is fundamental to the sulfonation process.
The plant can generate SO₃ through sulfur combustion followed by catalytic oxidation. The SO₃-containing gas is conditioned and accurately controlled before entering the reactor.
This configuration allows the sulfonation reaction to operate continuously with controlled gas-to-liquid ratios.
High-Efficiency Falling Film Reactor
The falling film sulfonator is designed to provide a large reaction surface and rapid heat removal.
Because sulfonation is highly exothermic, efficient temperature control is particularly important. The reactor and cooling system are therefore engineered together to maintain appropriate reaction conditions.
This helps reduce localized overheating and supports stable product quality.
Integrated Tail Gas Treatment
The plant can incorporate a dedicated tail-gas absorption system to handle residual SO₃ and acidic components.
Appropriate gas treatment helps reduce atmospheric emissions and provides safer operating conditions for the production facility.
Automation & Safety
The Turnkey SO₃ Sulfonation Plant can be equipped with centralized PLC/DCS control and safety interlocks.
