Production Process
The typical process route consists of:
Sulfur Melting → Sulfur Combustion → Heat Recovery → Gas Conversion → SO₃ Formation → Absorption → H₂SO₄ Production
The SO₂ produced by combustion is oxidized to SO₃ through catalytic conversion. The SO₃ is then absorbed in circulating sulfuric acid to produce the final product.
Automation
Centralized PLC or DCS control can be applied to monitor key parameters such as:
Gas temperature
Gas pressure
SO₂ concentration
Acid concentration
Acid circulation
Cooling water flow
Furnace operating conditions
Automatic control helps improve production stability and reduces the need for continuous manual intervention.
